Art Palm Beach 2012
Christopher Walker Art made our US debut with a highly successful appearance at Art Palm Beach in January 2012.
We showed seven artists, all of whom came from the vibrant London art scene (hence the tag line “London’s New Stars”). Artists shown were: photographers – Nicky Taylor (who won enormous praise), Tim Lord and Grace Vane Percy (each of whom provided one of the eye catching Black and White images either side of our booth); painters – Isao Miura (perhaps the best selling artist across the whole fair this year), Ingrid Lucas (responsible for the much lauded “Household Myth”), abstract genius Matthew Webber and newcomer Jazmin Jane. Around 30,000 people attended the show, some 7,000 on the first night alone. Galleries from all over the world were present, including ourselves and two others from London.
Christopher Walker Art was one of the most successful booths, winning the accolade “best booth” from several collectors, and achieving excellent sales. Three paintings could have each sold three times over. Particular congratulations to Isao Miura who sold nearly all of his work.
We would like to thank all those who visited us for their warm support. Any collectors who are still interested in making further purchases, please do not hesitate to contact us. Examples of the artists’ work shown are available on our ‘Artists Page.’
