Christopher Walker was born in the UK, and has an arts MA from Oxford University. He has had a wide career, and has over twenty years experience of working in the arts. He has served as a Director on the Development board of the Contemporary Arts Society, and the Royal Court Theatre in London. The former pioneered bringing outstanding young talent to a new audience, through a major annual arts fair in London, offering affordable art to discerning art buyers. He has published several articles on arts issues, and challenges for buyers of modern art and photography.
Christopher Walker Art works with a large number of galleries and some of the world’s leading art fairs. Over the coming year Christopher Walker will himself be leading the team at various art fairs, including our next exhibition, Art Palm Beach. This runs from January 19th to 23rd ,in the Palm Beach County Convention Center, West Palm Beach. Art Palm Beach is fast being recognized as one of the world’s leading fairs for collectors of modern art. It attracts a large number of buyers of modern art and photography, benefitting from the large number of wealthy collectors who live in Palm Beach, and West Palm Beach.
Christopher Walker advises established collectors and first time buyers of contemporary art and photography. He himself was the main art advisor, and buyer, for one of London’s leading financial institutions, assembling a large collection of contemporary art. He has also worked advising wealthy and corporate collectors of emerging artists. and photographers. He has relationships with important art buyers in Europe and the United States.
Christopher Walker also works with emerging artists to give them advice on how best to reach art buyers and collectors. He specializes in contemporary painters and photographers.
Christopher Walker lives in London, France and the United States. He is himself a leading collector of modern and contemporary art, both paintings and photographs.
