Christopher Walker Art specializes in finding young, undiscovered, artists and bringing them to a wider audience. Many of these artists are in their twenties or thirties. Others are mature, working in oils, watercolours, photography and sculpture. All share one thing – the possession of an exceptional, newly discovered talent.
Christopher Walker Art exhibits at major art fairs and galleries in London, New York, Palm Beach and France. Our next fair will be the 15th edition of Art Palm Beach, which takes place in the Palm Beach convention Center, in West Palm Beach, from January 19th-23rd. This fair has established a reputation for bringing art collectors from all over the United States to see an international range of galleries. It has also become the main even in the New Year’s ‘what’s on calendar’ in Palm Beach.
For 2012, H1, our plans are as follows-
January – Art Palm Beach, January 19th-23rd
March – Private Gallery France
April – Affordable Art Fair, New York, April 17th
May – Cannes Art Fair (tbc).
June – The Strand Gallery – Exhibition of one new photographer
Later this year, we plan major participation in ‘Art Week’ in October in London.
Christopher Walker Art chooses artists working in a variety of media, but with a strong preference for oils and photography. We do not consider video, or large scale installations. We do consider sculpture. If you are a new, or undiscovered, artist, and wish to be discovered by our talent scouts, please contact us in the manner described on our contact page. We advise artists on how best to reach out to art buyers, not just at art fairs and through gallery exhibitions. We advise artists on Arts PR and marketing – mailshots, press releases, marketing brochures, leaflets and advertising. How best to present themselves to buyers.
Christopher Walker art also works with buyers of contemporary art, whether experienced or new, advising them on sensible choices, which will combine their love of a particular work, with the correct market price.
